ColdNostalgiaChillsMeToTheBone.

I've been waiting for a miracle, and I'm not leaving. (:

Standing at the railings in front of the school staff room,
We watched as the Std6 kids step out from the hall from their UPSR exams.
We all joked about how we wanted to sit for the exams too. (:

Isn't it scary how time flies?
Remember when we were all struggling for our BM paper for UPSR?
Even when everyone told us it was just 'kacang putih'.
And yet,
That was EXACTLY what we told the next year's Std6 pupils. :)

Or what about last year when we sat for our PMR?
Everyone was all relaxed until 3 months before the real thing.
Rushing to catch up with work,
Going for holiday classes with Mrs. Gong.
Most of us didn't put in the effort,
Yet, I guess in a way,
We achieved more than we expected to.
And the aftermath:
Weeks where we'd just go to school for a day in that week,
Or playing Truth or Dare in the lab where the teachers were practically non-existent.
And who could forget that Tanjung Sepat trip that everyone went for?
Amazing times. :)

Scary isn't it,
How SPM's coming in a year already?
Then after that we'll all be shipped off to different colleges,
Taking different courses,
Graduating, getting jobs,
Getting married, having kids...

When I was in Primary,
Growing up to 16 felt like FOREVER away.
Yet here I sit,
Exactly 6 days to my 16th birthday.
Time waits for no one,
And I'm definitely no exception to that rule.
I guess what I'm trying to say is,
I want to be more than what I am right now.
Remember when we were 9 and we all couldn't wait to grow up?
Well, I just wish I had a little more time to grow up right.

"Please be patient, construction work in progress."
Yeah, that sounds about right. :)
